Literally the best accessory you can ever buy!
I’m back guys! It’s been a while since I’ve last published a blog. I’ve honestly missed it so much. The last few months I’ve been all about my thesis. I did my thesis for Balmain Paris Hair Couture and honestly, I’m obsessed with their products ever since. You should definitely try it. Thankfully, I’ve handed in my thesis last Sunday so now I have way more free time! YAY. So I’ve been thinking of what to write for a while now and I couldn’t think of a better topic than the Gucci Marmont Belt. It’s my favorite purchase ever and literally worth every penny you spend on it.
So let’s jump straight into the price. It’s $350 (270 euros), yes I know this sounds like a lot especially for a belt, but believe me, it’s the best investment ever. I’m not even kidding. You can wear it with every outfit you want, it looks cute on a jeans, dress or skirt. I personally feel like the smallest version is the cutest one, as it is a little bit more subtle. The belt comes in a cute box with a dust bag as well. I’d definitely recommend to put the belt back in the dust bag all the time. If you do this, the leather and buckle will stay pretty for a very long time. Mine looks as if it’s brand new even though I have it for around 1.5 years now I think.
So let’s dive into the details. The double G buckle obviously is the centerpiece of the belt. It definitely draws attention to it but not in a ‘in your face’ way. This belt has the same antique gold finishing as the Marmont bags. Matching this belt with my Marmont Bag is the best thing! I love this type of gold as it is less flashy. The width of the small belt is 2 centimeters. This one particularly is perfect to wear on your waist. It furthermore comes in 4 different colors: black, dusty pink, brown and white. At first I wanted the dusty pink one cause it’s just way too cute. But the black one is easier as you can wear it with any other color. Gucci also offers the belt in other designs. For example, they also have the belt with small pearls on the buckle. I literally almost bought it but then I was like, girl calm down, you already have one. 😦
Have you been debating about getting a Gucci belt? I would say, go for it! Yes, it’s a pricy belt but hello, how can you say no to this cutie? One last tip, make sure to buy it in the store, as the sizes can be tricky to work with.
Which one would you like more; the original belt or the belt with pearls? Let me know!
Oh my gosh, the weather here in the Netherlands is not something I’m loving. It has been snowing for a few days now and believe me, I HATE the snow and cold temperature. But today was a fun day! Not only because the snow is melting but I went to Rotterdam to have lunch with my parents @ Bertmans (the french toast is to die for BTW) and to get some stuff at De Bijenkorf.
I went for a casual outfit today. As it is still freezing, I knew for sure I wanted to wear a cosy sweater. As my closet is stuffed with sweaters and knitwear, it sure was a tough decision to make ;). I chose this vibrant red sweater from NA-KD with wide sleeves. I’m a sucker for wide sleeves as I think it gives a simple sweater something extra. What I love even more about these kind of sleeves, is that it looks really cute underneath a jacket. I know, it’s a really small detail but that’s what I love! The jacket I combined with this look is a grey, checkered coat. I love the pattern as you might already know and I am really into long jackets. I combined these items with a simple blue jeans and my biker boots from Zara with the pearls. To top it all off, I wore my Gucci Marmont as a crossbody. Just because this is much easier while taking care of a dog in a busy city haha. Yes, I brought my puppy with me to the city centre. It was quite the hassle but she’s so sweet and calm that you literally wouldn’t even notice her. Once again though, it seems as if my dogs take away my shine each time they pose with me. Can’t blame them though, as they are my favorite things on this freaking earth… Oh I now just realize I have a serious Zara obsession. Imma go work on that, right away.
Would you wear this outfit? And do you share a Zara obsession with me?

It’s almost that time of the year again! Christmas. I absolutely love XMAS. Everything about it makes me happy. The Christmas trees, the lights, presents and lovely family dinners. Our family makes a pretty big deal out of it, which I love. So for this wishlist, it’s all about XMAS presents.
I’ve been wanting this Saint Laurent shirt, #6, for quite some time now. So I thought this was the best option for a Christmas present. I’ve given my parents many ‘subtle’ hints so hopefully, they got the message ;). #3 is a winner as well. Honestly, you can never go wrong with a Self Portrait dress. I want this dress for our Christmas dinner, it would be absolutely perfect. A more casual present would be #2. This simple white blouse from & Other Stories is so classy yet very basic. This is a staple I still need in my wardrobe. Last week, I was scrolling through De Bijenkorf gift guide (my guilty pleasure for sure) and came across this Gucci bracelet, #4. I love this design, simplistic but with a touch of Gucci. You can never go wrong with that right? Another cute item I saw at De Bijenkorf, are the red heels from Jimmy Choo, #1. I cannot get enough of the design. The branded bows at the front are to die for, if you ask me. #5 is a bit extreme but oh my, I’ve want a Cartier ring ever since I found out what Cartier was. I don’t think my parents are that crazy to give this as a XMAS present, but I’m having high hopes for my 21st birthday.
Which item would you like to have for Christmas? Let me know!

With this new concept, I’d like to show you the must haves that are certainly on my wishlist! This week, we’re talking bags. Personally, bags are my absolute fave accessory! I’d like to wear a more simple outfit so that my bag truly gets all the attention.
My favorite of this collection, definitely is #3. This YSL bag is so classy yet it does have something edgy. It has been on my wishlist for quite some time now. As for #5, I must honestly say that Michael Kors is not really my brand anymore (it used to be my all-time favorite). But this bag is classy and it does not scream MK, which I obviously love. The Marc Jacobs mini bag, #1, is such a cutie. I think it’ll really take your outfit to the next level. I especially love the strap! Oh my, I love #2. The only downside of this bag is that it’s perfect for photos but not so much for daily usage. #6 is one of my absolute Gucci must haves. The Sylvie bag is classy and again, does not scream the brand’s name all over the bag. I like that a lot. And lastly, #4 is perfect for going to festivals or parties, as it’s super easy to wear and I love the combination of a bum bag (worn as a crossbody) with a colorful turtleneck.
Which one is on top of your wishlist?

Streetstyle in Switzerland
This week I went on a short trip to Switzerland with the fam (dog included as you can see). When I pack my suitcase, I always think of outfits that will look cute for possible shoots. I know, I have a problem but oh well. I packed something for basically every activity. But when we were going to hike I suddenly remembered that I didn’t bring sportswear. So, I took it upon myself and dressed to impress all the hikers ;). It was pretty cold, so I wore a turtleneck sweater and a jacket. Soon I realized that this was way too warm as I was dying while climbing the steep mountain paths. Disclaimer, I am not the most sporty person out there. But hey, everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. So, I looked pretty ridiculous between all those sporty people but what can I do about it right. And in the end, it paid off because the mountain was absolutely gorgeous! We made a ton of pictures already but when we made it to the lake, we were all in our element. We were making photos of the landscape (and ourselves) the whole time. It was so pretty that I cannot not share these with you!
On to the outfit! As I mentioned before, I was thinking that it was really cold, so I wore a warm sweater with a turtleneck. The green color of this sweater is to die for, and it was a coincidence that it matched perfectly with the colors of nature. I wore these ripped jeans with my Gucci Marmont belt. Believe me, this Gucci belt has been the best purchase ever. It elevates every outfit and it is functional as well. I absolutely love it and can’t live without it anymore! These shoes are the best ones ever. I designed them myself two years ago and they match perfectly with my style. The jacket brings this outfit together I think. I love long jackets with this kind of design and I like the transition into a leopard print at the bottom. It’s subtle yet it gives this jacket some extra spark. The inside of Ted Baker jackets is something out of this world, it’s amazing! It’s a shame however that you cannot really see it. I matched this outfit with my Karl Lagerfeld bag, but my dog Brody is literally the best accessory you can have, but he does take the spotlight away from me but that’s fine. He’s such a pretty model.
What do you love more? The outfit or the dog?
PS. A blog post about the Gucci Marmont belt will be coming soon!
