Oh my gosh, the weather here in the Netherlands is not something I’m loving. It has been snowing for a few days now and believe me, I HATE the snow and cold temperature. But today was a fun day! Not only because the snow is melting but I went to Rotterdam to have lunch with my parents @ Bertmans (the french toast is to die for BTW) and to get some stuff at De Bijenkorf.
I went for a casual outfit today. As it is still freezing, I knew for sure I wanted to wear a cosy sweater. As my closet is stuffed with sweaters and knitwear, it sure was a tough decision to make ;). I chose this vibrant red sweater from NA-KD with wide sleeves. I’m a sucker for wide sleeves as I think it gives a simple sweater something extra. What I love even more about these kind of sleeves, is that it looks really cute underneath a jacket. I know, it’s a really small detail but that’s what I love! The jacket I combined with this look is a grey, checkered coat. I love the pattern as you might already know and I am really into long jackets. I combined these items with a simple blue jeans and my biker boots from Zara with the pearls. To top it all off, I wore my Gucci Marmont as a crossbody. Just because this is much easier while taking care of a dog in a busy city haha. Yes, I brought my puppy with me to the city centre. It was quite the hassle but she’s so sweet and calm that you literally wouldn’t even notice her. Once again though, it seems as if my dogs take away my shine each time they pose with me. Can’t blame them though, as they are my favorite things on this freaking earth… Oh I now just realize I have a serious Zara obsession. Imma go work on that, right away.
Would you wear this outfit? And do you share a Zara obsession with me?

Statement Red Heels MK
Street Style Outfit Red Heels Michael Kors
Hi you guys! It’s been some time but I’m back! I’ve been super busy with school, work and most of all, puppy duty. We’ve got Charlie, my new pup, for one week now and oh my, it’s been chaos in the house. Having 2 dogs literally gives me life but it also sucks the life out of you haha. But, it’s all for a good cause right! Today I went to consultancy at school and I felt like wearing my flashy red boots. So here’s how I combined these red ankle boots.
These boots are from last year’s Fall collection of Michael Kors, and honestly, I haven’t worn them until recently. But now I love them so much. I love a good statement piece. As I don’t wear that much color, I like to incorporate it into the outfit one way or the other. Thus, with this outfit, I like to give my shoes the center of attention. The heels are made of suede and the red color is extremely vibrant. The heels underneath these ankle booth are doable. I’m already quite long so I try to keep my heels around 5 centimeters. As for the styling, I am addicted to the combo of the ankle boots with this Levi Wedgie Fitted Jeans. As they are rather loose and high cut, it looks casual yet trendy. I matched this with a Nikkie top, one of my faves. However, I haven’t bought anything from Nikkie in a while as the brand’s style doesn’t quite match with my personal style anymore. Unfortunately, as in the beginning, I was a huge fan! Then, to top it off, I wore my Ted Baker coat with it. This coat was quite the investment but honestly, I wear it all the time. You can wear it with basically any outfit you’d like. Thus, the ROI (trying to bring some economics in it as well, you’re welcome) is huuuge! 😉
Do you love these boots as much as I do? Or aren’t you a big fan of statement pieces? Let me know in the comments!

Streetstyle in Switzerland
This week I went on a short trip to Switzerland with the fam (dog included as you can see). When I pack my suitcase, I always think of outfits that will look cute for possible shoots. I know, I have a problem but oh well. I packed something for basically every activity. But when we were going to hike I suddenly remembered that I didn’t bring sportswear. So, I took it upon myself and dressed to impress all the hikers ;). It was pretty cold, so I wore a turtleneck sweater and a jacket. Soon I realized that this was way too warm as I was dying while climbing the steep mountain paths. Disclaimer, I am not the most sporty person out there. But hey, everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. So, I looked pretty ridiculous between all those sporty people but what can I do about it right. And in the end, it paid off because the mountain was absolutely gorgeous! We made a ton of pictures already but when we made it to the lake, we were all in our element. We were making photos of the landscape (and ourselves) the whole time. It was so pretty that I cannot not share these with you!
On to the outfit! As I mentioned before, I was thinking that it was really cold, so I wore a warm sweater with a turtleneck. The green color of this sweater is to die for, and it was a coincidence that it matched perfectly with the colors of nature. I wore these ripped jeans with my Gucci Marmont belt. Believe me, this Gucci belt has been the best purchase ever. It elevates every outfit and it is functional as well. I absolutely love it and can’t live without it anymore! These shoes are the best ones ever. I designed them myself two years ago and they match perfectly with my style. The jacket brings this outfit together I think. I love long jackets with this kind of design and I like the transition into a leopard print at the bottom. It’s subtle yet it gives this jacket some extra spark. The inside of Ted Baker jackets is something out of this world, it’s amazing! It’s a shame however that you cannot really see it. I matched this outfit with my Karl Lagerfeld bag, but my dog Brody is literally the best accessory you can have, but he does take the spotlight away from me but that’s fine. He’s such a pretty model.
What do you love more? The outfit or the dog?
PS. A blog post about the Gucci Marmont belt will be coming soon!

Zara Streetstyle Curacao
Zara Streetstyle Curacao
Is there anyone else who scrolls through their photos when they cannot sleep at night? Cause I’m guilty! Oops. So, when I was recently scrolling through all my memories, I found these photos taken back in Curacao this year. This dress was an item that I wanted the minute I laid eyes on it. However, there were some complications because when I wanted to buy it, the dress was already damaged. I later found out that this was the result of the fabric. This dress is from Zara’s TRF collection, the somewhat eco-friendly line so to say. It rips super easily so you should be careful when putting it on but oh well, you gotta do what you gotta do right. When I eventually ordered it online, it was delivered just in time for my vacay!
This dress is just breathtaking. I love the red color in combination with the fabric. The design is furthermore very flattering and cute. I love the ribbon at the waist! I knew I wanted to make some photos on the ‘Pontjesbrug‘ in Curacao as I already went there a few times before and the place is amazing for photoshoots! So this dress was just the perfect fit! I wore these boots, also from Zara, underneath and to be quite honest, nobody liked this combination. But I liked it so I basically couldn’t care less. I think the combo is cute and simple. These sock-like boots are super easy heels to walk on (not that simple on the bridge though) and trendy at the same time. Thinking about it, this blog is pretty much a dedication to Zara. But honestly, who doesn’t love Zara?
What do you think of the combo, the dress with those boots?

I wore this outfit when I had a school day and on our way to school, we stumbled upon this amazing wall in the ‘Witte de Withstraat’. This wall obviously screams take a picture in front of me, right? So, we did. My outfit matched pretty well with the background as this was really colorful and my outfit was quite lacking some color. So it couldn’t be any more perfect! Right now you might be thinking, does this girl own anything colorful? Believe me, I do! Only not that much ;). It’s still a work in progress as I had a severe addiction to black clothing. But I enjoy wearing colorful items more and more.
I really love checked prints so this blazer is definitely one of my favorite items ever! You can wear it over basically any outfit and it gives that extra spark instantly. For this outfit, I combined the blazer with a simple black t-shirt and some light-washed jeans. I think that by combining the blazer with these items, the blazer stands out more. And that’s exactly what I want! The boots are amazing in my opinion. I usually don’t like biker boots because of their rough appearance but thanks to the pearls I find these boots way more feminine, which I love! And BTW, they fit like a glove… I can walk hours on these boots. I was feeling like wearing my Karl Lagerfeld bag today. I’ve had this bag for more than two years now, but I never get bored of this cutie. It matches super easily with outfits and I can put a lot in it as well!
